Conor Oberst writes the most satisfying lyrics because he speaks the truth. I think he’s brilliant, and this line has always stood out to me because it reflects my life and how I would like to continue living it. It’s my motto.

Because we have created false standards that no one can live up to.
My final show will be Spring Awakening, the cast is kick ass. I’m so lucky to be apart of this, I CAN NOT WAIT.
All the things we need are hidden by all the things we want.
I’ve always thought this line was real beautiful.
A lot of people say I’m weird, even I say it about myself. I see things differently, I react differently, and I don’t always say the most proper things. The way I am has never held me down from living though, the only thing that has held me back is thinking for a moment that I don’t deserve to be here because of the way I am.
Once you believe you deserve to be here, it doesn’t matter how weird you are anymore.
